It's a new board. It's an interesting problem. Imo try gigabyte support which I think you already paid for when you bought the board, and after that try an official gigabyte support forum.

Do you have additional drives connected, not mentioned in your initial post? Seagate 4TB... ?

@cddt I did, but they were disconnected after I figured I would test without them, and nothing changed whatsoever.

joyte: I made a thread in https://forums.servethehome.com/index.php?threads/gigabyte-mainboard-mc12-le0-re1-0-amd-b550-am4-ryzen.42579/, and someone suggested settings the CPU to eco mode.

For some reason I don't see any post at that link. Power settings may have some effect on core activity. If you're interested in exploring you could turn some cores off, change graphics settings if there are options for that. Some bios equivalents offer additional logging to file if it's useful.

Anyways, I think I'm really not being helpful here and Gigabyte support is what you need. First or third question from them might be does it boot windows.

Hi all,
I found a fix for my issue. It appears to be related to the 5950X only. I limited the core voltage to 1400mv, and the crashes stopped. This is apparently a common issue with the 5950X, happening ~2 years after purchase (coincidentally, it's been 2 years and 3 months since i bought mine).

After limiting, all crashes stopped, and booting into the operating system worked flawlessly.
Thanks to everyone who helped.
