In order to self-sign a Symbian app, you have to register an account at SymbianSigned by putting in your email account. Have just discovered it wont accept email addresses from orcon.net or from xtra.co.nz, anyone experienced this?
How do you sign an app if you cant get an account?

Just keep trying different email accounts I'm afraid. . . If you want to send me your IMEI and the application to be signed I'd be happy to do it for you, I have an account.

Finally got an email account that let me register with SymbianSigned.

Downloaded the DevCertReq file DevCertRequest_30_10_2006_v2.0 but when I try to run it, nothing happens! Running Vista Home Premium but have tried rning in in various compatibility modes to no avail. ANyone else experienced this?
