They are due by Christmas 2007 :(

Chorus has spent $1.4 billion on making their xDSL broadband network faster and even more now as they are upgrading their rural Conklins. If your still stuck on ADSL or VDSL, why not spend $195 on a master filter install to make sure you are getting the most out of your connection?

Where are your sources from? If they're from Nokia then their information is unlikely to be reliable. When I spoke with Maps project managers at Nokiaworld they passed the buck completely on this issue, stating that maps updates are contracted out to a third party, so they could not give timeframes.

It's been "coming in the next few weeks" for months now.

I would be surprised if Nokia even bothered to ask a 3rd party to develop NZ maps for a few thousand users here in NZ vs. millions in other countries.  I hope I am wrong though!

I think one of Nokia's mapping company acquisitions from last year already had map sets for NZ, so I would think that we will see them eventually...

Nokia owns a company called Navteq, who (amoung other things) develop mapping solutions for the likes of Google, Yahoo and Mapquest.

They are the ones who have done the NZ maps also.
