It would be great if you post the links to those blogs. Your contributions have been priceless.

What's next in TheBartender's master plan? A new phone, a new story?

Chorus has spent $1.4 billion on making their xDSL broadband network faster. If your still stuck on ADSL or VDSL, why not spend from $150 on a master filter install to make sure you are getting the most out of your connection?

Hey guys,

I have managed to do a master reset on my phone - which was a mission in itself cuz it is not your standard way of doing it by pressing a few numbers on the keypad. I am sure it was mentioned here before but I will mention it again for the sake of others:)

First, turn off your phone.

Second, hold down the four buttons at the same time:

Power, left caps key, space bar and the delete button. Keep holding onto them until you see the phone turned on.

OK, my question is, and perhaps TheBartender can help and others too please, is now that I have done a master reset, my old photos aren't showing and when I install new applications onto the mass memory the applications don't show, despite it showing in "Installed Applications".

Thanks in advance guys.

Actually I found the answer. It is best to format the "Mass storage", connect the phone back to the PC Suite to create the folders within the Mass Storage and go from there.

It's all a little clunky if you ask me but that's the way it is done:)

OK, WHAT NOT TO DO WITH YOUR N97.

Trying to perform the GPS trick by by adding extra wire to the antenna, ripping it off by accident, then soldiering on copper wire directly on pcb, only to find it is just as bad if not worse than when you started.

For those of you who do it right, before i accidently ripped off the antenna, i was getting 50-80m accuracy inside (up from none), and 20m outside(up from 80-250m) with no bouncing values.

Have you upgraded your firmware to v12?  If not, I recommend that you do to make your phone more stable.

Try doing a factory reset and hope that helps. Yeah, the N87 is still quite buggy and apparently version 2 firmware is due out sometime this month. I cannot wait!
