I have been trying to get my E75 to work with my wireless network.  It can see the network but when trying to connect to it I get an "invalid WPA pre-shared key" error.  The key is correct.

The settings on the phone are:
Network status: public  (though it makes no difference if it is hidden)
Network mode: infrastructure
Security mode: WPA/WPA2
  - pre-shared key
  - wpa2 only mode = off

My AP is Dlink DWL-3200AP set to use:
SSID broadcast = on
Authentication = WPA-auto-personal
Cipher type = auto

Any ideas?

Can you verify if your WiFi set up works on other devices, laptops, etc? If so, did your AP have a MAC address filter activated?

The AP works with about four laptops and a desktop or two. MAC filters have are activated but I have added the E75 MAC to the filter. IP address is hard coded into the the E75 along with other network information.

Problem solved. I had to enter the key in upper case. I've never had to do that before.

Ha.  I had the same issue last night.  Was scratching my head until I worked it out.

On a related note - I can access my PC files using Ovi Online when connected through my Wifi, but it takes ages to download anything (because it goes up to the net, and then back down again)
Can anyone explain how I would go about tranferring files directly through my WiFi connection instead of up to the net, then back down again?  I can't see any way of doing it other than using my USB cable and connecting direct to my PC.

There is a SMB Share program available for Symbian which mounts the phone as a network drive.
