Pretty curious 'bout these. I like blackberry, and I like having hard keys. It might be handy for me to be able to mad e-mail in future.

So if there are any users out there, what's it like? Any down sides?

I had passport now classic

I still carry at least one other device though. Relying on one is not enough for my needs.

Is that mainly because of the app compatibility, or because of screen size/input etc?

Can anyone refer me to a physical shop that sells and stocks new Blackberry devices in Auckland, please?

I ask because I am thinking of upgrading my old 7 series o/s 'thumb pad' device with a new series 10 o/s

device with the 'gestures' touchscreen, but I want to play with it first to decide if I like the reality or not.

Watching a video of the process is not really satisfactory.

I asked in a Spark shop, with the idea that Spark market focus is 'business market', hoping there might

be a Blackberry option in their supply chain, but the youthful sales people laughed at me patronisingly.

Digi Parallel Imported used to have stock in their shops of BB stuff, not so sure now.  I saw a Passport at PB Tech Henderson a few weeks back.

Yes, both of those. Parallel imported I think have some, and Vodafone also sell them (with plans I think) - I think they just have the classic, but PI has both.
