So we don't have to get parallel imported stuff and not supported by Vodafone NZ? I want to see the new 8120 pearl, 8100 is so old now.

Thanks for that, do you know the ETA? i have been using a parallel imported old set, does what I need it for now, and enough to get me hooked to a blackberry, with all the functionalities etc, however finding it slowwww ... need a faster phone so this hopefully will get here soon!

I can get any vodafone live service, working on a non-vodafone mobile, i have a paralell imported k800i Sony Ericsson, i set up the VFNZ Internet connection on it, and it does'nt charge credit!!!

Thanks not doubting your ability to unlock phones properly etc, but I find that it is best to get a phone that is fully endorsed and supported by the carrier, as support will always be available, and there should be no warranty issues!

i find that when VF brings in a "new model" phone, you actually can't find them anywhere else in the world as they've moved onto a newer model (sometimes 2-3 models newer) and that particular model have been completely cleared off the shelves in the rest of the world! guess where they went... NZ! i really hope things have changed but i can't be bothered buying new models for a while now due to the fact they're old, so i am out of touch now. tell me if things have changed ...
