I just got a few questions for blackberry users

1. what kind of map software comes with blackberry? do i need ongoing internet connection for this (for my nokia phone i can just use my GPS and the downloaded nokia map)

2. is it worth it to get the BB bold now? or shud i wait for the next version?

hmm I am waiting for the next version, the bold is only 128 MB ROM, the 8900 is 256, but it is only 2G, so .... waiting for a 3G 8900? .. as for map, I subscribe to vodafone compass.

Edit: there is google maps that you can use with data, ... BB maps also uses data, but there is no maps for NZ i don't think.

I am changing the subject of this thread, because "help" is not descriptive and meaningful enough to give anyone a reason to read it.

As for getting a bold? Depends on what you're after, I love mine but I'm not overly techno savvie

Blackberry leave the mapping info to be supplied to them from local carriers/sources this is why AU has no maps either.
