I am using a BlackBerry. Yes, RIM asked me to go with one for a few weeks, so this time I found that the Bold is actually better looking than the old devices, including better screen and fonts. So why not?

I also decided to install the BES software, to have the real Exchange synchronisation going. It works, but I have a couple of questions...

1.I have four folders being synchronised. When I hit the Email app it will show ALL emails on the stream. That's fine, if I click Menu | View Folders I can see each folder separately. But is there any way to have it showing only the contents of a specific folder (i.e. Inbox) when the program starts?

2.Synchronisation is all but... I receive up to 1000 emails a day. Not counting spam because those are thoroughly filtered at the Exchange - but still hit my mailbox in the Junk Email folder. The problem is that I have some rules that will move emails to some folders but it seems sometimes the BES picks the emails before the Exchange applies the rules so things show in the Inbox that should be in some other folder, invisible to my handheld. Annoying...

3.Deletes... There's a control that defaults to 100 latest emails being tracked. I've changed it to 1000, but not everything I delete on Outlook is deleted from the BlackBerry. If for example I open an email on Outlook it will shows as READ on BlackBerry. If I deleted it on Outlook it goes away from my mailbox (confirmed on OWA) but never goes away from the BlackBerry.
