Hey Guys,

Does anyone know of a device that can connect via HDMI or something so I can capture a picture/audio and it will allow clients to connect to it via RTSP?

I.e. if I wanted to connect a unit to my freeview, then everyone could watch it from their bedrooms in the house using RTSP stream. Obviously they could only watch the channel it's on and not be able to change the channel.

Really keen to know if this is possible, costs and what I can use to do it.

Cheers
Barry

I've never seen a device that could do this and doubt with the HDMI standard that it's easily done without first removing the encryption.

A PC on the other hand with a DVB-T tuner will easily do that.

You could always just buy a HD Homerun which is a lot cheaper!

Nah because I want it to take HDMI as the input source for audio / visual so I can also connect it to a PC and stream, or to a sky decoder, etc.

Just found something similar ... http://darim.tv/products/encoder_streaming/mv901

Cheers

Many thanks
