In case anyone is interested, I am selling my Cambridge DACMagic Plus...

Replaced my DAC/Tube Amp combo with a Hegel Amp/DAC combo, so superfluous to my needs now...

ASR has a review of it as well; pretty good performance for the price, and balanced outputs to boot.

Sounds like the sort of product @landcruiserguy is looking for

Just email customer services. They fixed it for me.

Oh, so tempting.

How much is shipping to NZ? And add GST I presume?

Is there a non Professional model? What are the differences?

I emailed CS when I got mine and asked if they would do the deal for NZ and they said yes, same price adjusted to NZ$.

The differences are

1) Colour

2) Cables. The standard version comes with a balanced cable with (I think) an XLR connector or whatever those strange round multi plug things are called. The Pro comes with a longer curled cord with a standard headphone jack on it intended to be useful if you need to plug them in to a mixer in a studio or something. Both also come with a normal cable for daily use. The professional also has spare ear pads I think. My box is in the loft so can't look easily!

That's it. The headphones themselves are completely identical except for the colour.

Does anyone have a use for these old worriers or know of a way to repair them?  To old to live, to good to die.  Sony WF-1000XM (first gen)

I finally bought a pair of SHP9500 Headphones
Holy moley, how are these things ~$100!?

Sensational value for money. Prefer them over my ATH-M50x when the situation allows for open back....

I currently have a pair of the original Sennheiser PXC-550 which does not support AAC or APT-X. I use Apple Music which is encoded in AAC format, so would I get better sound quality if I were to upgrade to a model with support for these codecs?

If so, does anyone have any advice on the key differences between the PXC-550-II versus the Momentum 3? I'm inclined to try the latter but it's a lot more expensive.

I’m looking for a pair of affordable wireless over ears. Looking to spend up to $150ish. Comfort is really important as I have pretty big head and wear glasses. I find a lot of headphones are too tight.

Sennheiser hd 350bt are currently on sale for $138 at Harvey Norman. I tried them on and found them comfortable but the ear pads are a little small. This may be annoying wearing them for too long.

There are other options around that price. JBL, Skullcandy, Marley, etc. It looks like the Anker q20 is a popular budget option.

I don’t really need noise cancelling. Any recommendations?

Geektastic: So who’s getting the $999 Apple headphones?!

lol... I've been looking at upgrading my headphones and since the release of Apple's pricing a lot of people have been talking about the Sony headphones, it's almost like viral marketing by them!

Many years ago, I was right in to audio/video and over analysed tech specs. Now I don't care as much and the thought of me spending 1k on headphones is hilarious.
