networkn: Nice kit!

Yeah, I heard it whilst in Melbourne earlier in the year, loved the sound. For me had to get two to monoblock due to the HE-6, which put it well out of my budget for new, but fortuitously two showed up simultaneously in the Head-Fi for sale forums at the same time and I managed to snag both (for less than the cost of one new).

Yah that is an excellent result. I finally got my Crack Amp fixed, it sounds wonderful, I am waiting on my finger surgery to heal and I'll start on the upgrade for it, and then you can have a listen if you are interested.

Oh definitely! Will be good to check out the MrSpeakers Ether on the Crack, when the Ether is released that is.

My Koss PortaPros starting acting up (bad connection in the plug). So I was out shopping for a new headset the other day.

Checked out B&W P3 and P5, but really didn't like how pronounced the bass was in them. Ended up trying the Sennheiser Momentum and really liked them. So went from a $20 dollar headset (mostly used on the go) to "slightly" more expensive Sennheisers. But boy are they worth it.

If I could only have one thing on a desert island with me, music of some form would be near the top of my list behind food and naked women! (and to be fair it would be a close call between music and food)

Woohoo! Tracking update - the second CMA800R has arrived. Man, good times ahead. Can't wait to try the MrSpeakers Ether on it come June/July. If anyone has an HD800 or LCD-3 lying around that they're OK parting from for a couple of days I would love to hear these on this amp too.

Two for use as monoblocks (one amp for L channel, one for right). It quadruples power output that way, which is needed in the case of the HE-6 given their low sensitivity.

NZTF: anything to report?

I bought a G930 Wireless Gaming Headset yesterday, am reasonably impressed honestly, though it does show quite clearly how good my other more high end gear is!

The surround DEMO was out of this world, but in game (GTA V) somewhat less impressive, but I did spend an hour playing through some of my music and I have to say, whilst not mind boggling, pretty capable esp for $100.

I'll try with Far Cry 4 tonight and see how the spatial sound sounds ;)

Ive been using a set of G35's (wired version) for 4 years now and they are great, still going strong. Gaming on them is a step above a stereo headset. Have just purchased a ath-m50x for use at home, had great reviews for the pricepoint and thats about all my budget will cater for ;)

Running inventory of gear expected at this year's meet here. Already a lot of great gear there, once I can confirm with Computer Lounge that will be in attendance the list will grow considerably too.
