Good spotting. Are these any good?

I've currently got the Sony Bluetooth noise cancelling ones (MDR-ZX770BN) but they're nowhere near as good as I was hoping.

They do cover my ears nicely, but their noise cancelling ability is rubbish really.  Also they don't appear very good on the lower end at all.

No personal experience by Tyll seems to like them:

Just got my Geek Out V2 and my AKG 7KXX Black and Red Massdrop Edition headphones.  I wasn't blown away by the combo when I first plugged it in.  Now that they've had about 150 hours of burn-in they are sounding amazing!

Defying Gravity by Rachel + Kurt from Glee. I have listened to this 100 times, and tonight I tried it with my T1's and a Borrowed IFi DSD Micro. Wow. Just WOW.

Say what you like about Glee, but there was a lot of seriously talented singers on that show!

We are off on a 12 hour flight x 12 with our two young kids. The headphones supplied by the airline are massive, and they fall off so much. Anyone know of reasonably priced kids headphones?

I listened to it on Spotify with the hi def setting on.  It did sound good.  Great clarity.

In regard to kid sized headphones I recommend IEMs that come with changeable tips.  This works if the kids are at least 4.  Younger than that is just hard.

Both my kids listen to TV on my RS170's without too much trouble and they are HUGE, so maybe I won't worry about it.

If you fly with Air NZ they had great headphones, ok better than average, so I wouldn't worry there.  Most kids seem to do ok with them anyway.  They'll complain about fidelity though since they're used to your RS170s ;)

Seems pretty quiet here lately.

My latest acquisition is the iDSD Micro Dac/Amp.

I am also having another go at finishing the speedball upgrade for my crack amp.

I also replaced my Black Box M10 Noise Cancelling Headphones for the Limited Edition Triple Black QC25 Bose.

Still loving my Final Audio Sonorous VI which was the last purchase I made other than the slightly disappointing Centrace DacPort revision...I have gone back to using my original one due to the small, but noticeable and persistant noise-floor/hiss on the new one.
