Have a panasonic blu ray dmp bd655. all of a sudden the sound is all messed up. Regardless of what DVD we put in the voices vibrate. if we play it at fast forward they sound like the chipmunks but no vibration. Picture is fine. Bought a cleaner and when you put that in the voice on the tutorial is fine. But put in a video (dvd or blu ray) and it sounds like a vibrator on a larynx. We've had it about a year and have watched maybe 15 dvd's.

Return it to the retailer and get fixed or replaced. Should be still under warranty. If not invoke the CGA.

The user is not in New Zealand, so the CGA won't apply in this case.

Let's see if someone else comes with some explanation on how/why it happens and go from there.

Should still be under warranty though if inside 1 yr old.
