Mauricio - how have you found the new Polk speakers? I'm in the same situation at the moment - 2 yr old running around and need a decent set of sat/subs up high. I'm down to the either RM6750 or the KEF 2005s (couple of hundred more). Did you compare these also? have you sorted wall mounts out also?

I havent heard/compared the Polk speakers but I can say I listened to a lot of "small" speaker sets in NZ and Hong Kong when choosing my Kef 2005s and the Kefs won every time.  At $1699 for the full set of Kef 2005 speakers at Eastern Hifi its also a damn good price (http://www.easternhifi.co.nz/default,837,kht20052.sm ).  The speakers all come with wall mount fittings too which the cables can be passed through and into the wall (except the sub!).  I'm using mine with an Onkyo SR702 amp.

I have them mounted on the walls, and I have to say the sound's very good. Yes, compared them and I didn't think the difference entitled the $200 - $300 price up.

Mordaunt Short do a very nice Bipolar (903), which I use on my 7.1 system. They also do a range of in-wall speakers, and wall mountable "Lifestye" speakers.

I've had various MS speakers over the last 20 or so years, and have always liked them.
