Subscribe to Netflix and view this on a TV via an HDMI cable connected to an iPad 3.

Have noticed that the sounds levels are generally much lower than the Freeview channels on the TV.

Even TVNZ On Demand via the Ipad is similar to Freeview channels ie much louder than Netflix.

More specifically Netflix seems to have a different balance to it's audio in that music and sound effects in the movie are getting closer to the loudness of TV, but audio is much quiter.

I wondered if it is because we don't have surround sound and maybe Netflix is optimised for this.

Any others noticed this, or have a suggestion for a solution?
