hey guys!

So i am planning to make a custom gaming htpc. I am in need of a powerful low profile card. It doesnt matter how long it is, i just need it to be low, height wise.

Can someone recommend one. The most powerful low one?

Cheers guys!

You can get low profile Radeon 7850's not sure if many people stock the NZ though, probably best to contact Computer Lounge or Playtech and ask.

You can filter graphics cards on Pricespy by low profile and then sort/filter by other parameters to find the beastiest one.

Don't forget about noise and heat in your low profile, lounge-based pc ;)

If you find one let me know as I have a quick low profile box, but have to game on a slower full tower due to this problem.

i found one in ple australia which was only about $250nzd incl shipping to my friend in australia and then he is going to ship it to me tomorrow. I should have it mid next week :D

The afox 7850 is the best low profile card out and 7850s are pretty good for gaming :)

I believe PLE has 1 left so get in quick! :)

Probably not as fast as you want, but I just bought a Sapphire HD7550 low profile card for my HTPC mostly because we were doing more gaming on it, and it was the best properly single slot video card I could find (I didn't need low profile). Only had it a few days, but the games we have played have all run rather nicely at 1080p, but they aren't AAA fps shooters, more Rayman Legends and Sonic All Star Racing Transformed.
