Hi there,

I am slowly building up my HT setup. Today bought a Logitech 650 remote to try and simplify at least the basic functions. However I cannot find the model number for our TV. There is an indent in the back of the television where the sticker with all that info would normally go, but nothing on it.

It is a DSE LCD television, 42", and about 5 years old.

Does anyone know where there might be a database of older models that Dick Smith stocked? I could not find anything on the support area of their website - I remember it being a lot better than it is now.

Thanks for any help or ideas

I would suggest you ask the question on their FB page or via email. I think it's unlikely a off brand dse tv might be supported be default however.

You also have the option of teaching it via your old remote

Thanks. I had no luck tracking down the model number, but the teaching function seems to be woring well enough for what I need.

Thanks for the pointer.
