In laws have a cheap Panasonic panel that they want to watch TVNZ on demand on. Their computer doesn't have an output.

What's the cheapest device they can buy to get it easily on their TV?

So the computer no outputs at all, No VGA?

I would say buy a Google Chromecast and cast a Tab from Google Chrome via WIFI but others may have more options available on how to get TVNZ on a TV without any connection of a computer.

Samsung smart bluray player. Also has acceptable speed on the youtube app, and will have netflix as soon as they pull finger and launch.

I always have good success bargaining with the people at JB HiFi, if you're near a store. They even gave me a discount on an iMac once, which nobody else would.
