For the next few months I am in need of an HDMi extension cable or a connector to join two hdmi cables together.

I have a 10m HDMI cable and I need it to be around 15m (the 10m one is in wall - and its not an easy thing to thread through a new 15m one - this is just temporary ! )

Anyone know where I can get one ? without importing through amazon ???

suggestions on a postcard..

$80 odd $$ from there

of $6 odd for a female to female connector

might have issues with getting a connecting though may be too long

I bought some f/f joiners on Trade Me awhile back, only a couple bucks and worked fine, though I didn't try a 15 meter run. A cheap powered splitter might work as a booster if necessary.

Most electrical wholesalers sell a female to female  that is designed to go in a switch plate. It is really designed to let you neatly terminate HDMI cables that you have run through the wall, but I would think it is perfect for what you want

when you finish with it you can use it to terminate your new 15m on the way you should have in the first place. wink
