Hi there,

I'm after a 40' + TV for the spare bedroom that's going to be used exclusively for gaming and perhaps the odd movie. No live TV or Sky.

I'm a bit out of touch with what's good or not but looking to spend around a 1000. The bigger the better off course.

Need at least 2 HDMI inputs and a USB.

Any suggestions on a good deal?

I have been really happy with my Sony W800B which I bought mid-last year as both a gaming PC (PS4 and PC via HDMI) and a general movie and Netflix telly. Has a couple of Game modes with slightly different picture characteristics for either brighter or more gritty games, response is great and ghosting/shuddering non-existent.

I think it is an EOL model now but this seems to be a roughly equivalent successor.
