Would like to hide the player on the back of the TV. The TV is on a swing wall mount and I shouldn't need to worry about the remote issue as the soundbar has a IR repeater cable. 

It looks like there is no vertical option on NZ market.......

The PS3 Ultraslim is not actually that big. 
There is a vertical wall mount available for it from Amazon. 

Otherwise what about one of these:

http://www.amazon.com/Toshiba-BDX5500-3D-Ultra-Blu-Ray/dp/B00IYH1IV6/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1439189589&sr=8-2&keywords=vertical+blueray (Not very good reviews though)

Not sure if they ship to NZ but you should be able to get via youshop.
