Are there any OLED television options? I'm really looking for OLED 4K, anyone know when these will be available?

What size do you want? What budget do you have? LG have models announced and I have seen OLED TV's recently, pretty sure they were 4K and STUNNING, and E X P E N S I V E!

The LG 55 Curved has been in the stores for some time. Check out JB HiFi and others.

Budget....well I'd start to feel uncomfortable spending more than $4K.
Size - 55" (I'd also consider 60")

Thinking about purchasing in December or Jan
I haven't managed to find any OLED 4k TV's, the LG OLED's so far seem to be limited to FHD.
Is it worth waiting or spending more for OLED? or are the newer technology LED's good enough? (Nano crystal)

I don't think there are any 4K OLED Tvs here in NZ yet.

Panasonic and LG have just both announced 4K OLED sets in 55" and 65" sizes that will be available in October/November

Price wise? You'll have to AT LEAST double your $4k budget for even the 55"

Might need to look at other options sorry mate.

Unfortunately, your budget won't allow for OLED, especially with the USD so much stronger.

4K OLED was only announced by LG at CES at the beginning of this year, and reinforced by Panasonic announcing similar around IFA. Expect even the modestly priced sets to be in the $8-10K bracket. And are they capable of the new full color standards? I know OLED is but are the processors in the first generation capable?
While the pictures are stunning, and reminiscent of the FHD Kuro plasmas when they first came out compared to everything else, there is still some concern around burn in, just like there was on early plasmas. Until I can be confident that there are mechanisms in place to reduce the chance of burn in, and the price is reduced by mass production, I'll hold on to my money.

I don't think you've got any chance of finding a 4K OLED in that price range. How close are you sitting to the screen? You may find that you don't even notice the difference between 1080 and 4k depending on how close to the screen you are.

Considering the lack of 4k content, unless you are shooting your own on a 4k camera, I would get a FHD OLED instead, and then upgrade to 4k later when there are more on the market and the price has dropped. NZ broadcasters won't be doing 4k broadcasts for a long time, and although you can get 4k on some online services, it is still limited. But the 4k backlit LED/LCDs still look pretty good IMO.

More likely early next year... Samsung look to have their first UHD Blu-ray player out in early 2016, RRP $499 US.

LG OLED 4K is available in Aussie Harvey Norman for A$4995

this article says that its available in NZ at selected stores at a price of $7999 which seems a bit steep considering the Aussie price

That's not unusual with Ozzy Vs NZ pricing.  Cars are another example. When I was there in August I saw  new Mazda 3s for $23000 incl on road costs.  Here they are from $32700 plus on road costs.
