Hi Guys

just got Sony Android TV X8500C but I could not see Hulu and Amazon.. tried to search over internet but to no avail.
even created US google account to see if it will list but no go..

Anyone able to download this and install Hulu on your Sony Android TV?
Note that I could see Hulu and Amazon on my previous Sony X55900a..

The reason you can't see Hulu or Amazon Video...is because they're not available in NZ.

You will need to sideload the apk's  and then forward 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 in router to your geolcation service DNS

Have a read of this

http://www.expertreviews.co.uk/tvs-entertainment/media-streamers/1403240/how-to-get-us-netflix-on-chromecast-and-roku-devices

Chromecast and Android TV suffer from the hardcoded Google DNS, so follow same steps using your Geolocation service's DNS

You can find APK's (android .exes) on the web for Amazon and Hulu, you download them on your PC and then use a USB stick to transfer it to the TV, then use ES explorer (available from Playstore on the TV)  to access the USB stick on the TV, then view the usb stick...and install the APK (first you need to enable 'install Applications from unknown sources' in settings)
