Is freeview (dvb-s) working for anyone else?
We're using a Hills box, had signal right through this afternoon now its not picking up anything.

We're sharing a cable with the sky decoder which has worked fine, dual throat LNB on the dish.

I have LNB type set to 10750 which has worked fine, its showing 100% signal strength but 0% qual.

yeah I've rebooted it but its not getting any signal qual....
is there a way to hard reset it?

Sky is working fine....

Have you tried disconnecting the splitter input and feeding it straight to the Hills box?
If that doesnt work then its in the settings or the box has died a death,you could always restore to default idf the above doesnt work

won't be able to try the other cable from the splitter until no one is watching sky..
how do you do that kind of reset?

Sky is Horizontal Polarity. If you are attempting to access vertical polarity transponders on D1 (13v dc to LNB), Sky on Horizontal (18v dc to LNB) will over-ride. Sky decoders will output LNB power even when powered down. When you get a chance unplug the Sky decoder and try again. It is the only way short of a power block splitter to stop Sky from taking control. Hope this helps.

I just tried pulling the plug on the sky box and getting the freeview box to do a re-scan, still no joy :( will get under the house tomorrow to check the cable connection

Update: I pulled the box out and tested it on the cable going into the sky box and I get signal, so I guess the cable must of come loose somewhere
