try the $2 type stores, they have 1.5 mtr cables for around $7 and 3mtr for around $12 and they are good quality , i have bought my last 2 from one in Rotorua and have had no problems.





Common sense is not as common as you think.

Always off trademe. So much cheaper than any stores. Purchased two 3 metre v1.4 cables for $4.15 each.

Dx- $4 for cables with a good length and have 180 degree swivel heads. I'm not sure if they still have them. But at the time I bought about 6

PB tech ones have nice low profile cables and connectors, have bought quite a few over the years.
$10.29 for 2m cable.

The 12 or so I got from Dick Smith for 50c each at Xmas should last me for the rest of my life!

 

At the end of the day what do you consider to be "reasonable"? I think the prices charged by big name retailers such as PB Tech are pretty reasonable.
