Meh, coudnt care less, what we get would be so watered down crap and I would have to get sky to see it anyway.

Bittorrent and 50 gigs on the internet account costs less the cost of sky and it is a better selection.

clearly you don't live in a flat with 4 people using the internet....50gig it comes colse to what we use most months...but a couple of times we have hit the limit....man 'dial up speed' with 4 users sucks alot

Almost at the 300 mark! Not bad for a days work (now to solve world hunger and invent a really good recipe for rice pudding!) Thanks for all the help - remember to forward this http://www.gopetition.com/petitions/bring-on-the-sci-fi-channel.html

Sky might take more interest in the petition if it said - I will sign up to sky if they had a sci-fi channel.
existing customers complaining doesn't make them any moneyWink

That's a good point. I am a TCL customer that receives Sky channels. No idea what tier they might add SciFi to but if it's say the MGM Channel plan then I wouldn't get it. I would if it were added to Food TV/Rialto etc. If I had to pay additional I also wouldn't get it given the programming that it might offer and the pretty poor PQ of Sky TV over TCL cable

Staying in Wellington. Check out my AirBnB in the Wellington CBD.  https://www.airbnb.co.nz/h/wellycbd  PM me and mention GZ to get a 15% discount and no AirBnB charges.

Interestingly enough, if you read the comments on the petition, there seems to be a good number of people saying they'd be happy to pay extra for decent SciFi.

can I be a party pooper and say meh.  I don't really care for a Sci-Fi channel.

Mind you, if Sky can put Farce-ion TV on again, I suppose anything is possible.

I petition for a golf channel, so all the golf can stop interrupting all the good sport on Sky :)

Thats an interesting point about changing the blurb on the petition but bare in mind that the petition is really aimed at all the TV networks not just Sky (even though they're already playing the niche channel game)... so any ideas on how we can further spread the word to ge tmore signatures?

They used to have a golf channel, I seem to remember.  A bit like watching paint dry (prolly why they stopped it).  At least Fashion TV has pretties to look at Wink.

Not interested in Sci Fi.

What about a petition to get Prime on Freeview DVB-S & T Tongue out
