seeing how they are moving onto HD, surely they can now take on the widescreen format for regular digital subsribers? i mean you can watch the warriors on prime in 16:9, but not on sky sport!

Sky have been upgrading the operations centre for sometime now and stated that once done all channels would be moved to 16:9, they seem to have taken a fair bit of time in doing that, but I understand once HD is released expect most channels to start moving.

I think in the Feb or March Sky Magazine they stated that all channels would be moved to 16:9 by years end.

i'm liking this sport on Prime though, is good to see Wimbeldon and Euro 2008 live and in 16:9.

I'm hoping all Sky Sports channels will change to 16:9 at the end of July when Sky HD is launched.  But then again this is hope rather than any concrete info :)
