My Father was somewhat surprised when he switched his Sky digital box over to Prime to watch Grass Roots Rugby. What was playing was hard core porn from the Spice channel! Not sure how long it was on, as he did not spend to long watching it. Not good sky!!

Wow, if he had captured proof of this it would have gone down like lead.

I rang sky, they are very well aware that an error happened.

It went on ONE News as well...

Thankfully, I wasn't one who was affected by such events!

Guess that this will grow to the proportions that a bit of boob did a couple of years ago on the Superbowl half time show..

It was described on One News as a "systems distribution failure", but my fiance's mother works for Sky and she said that it happened because whoever was supposed to be monitoring the Prime channel was instead watching the Spice channel, and accidentally broadcasting it without realising they were. They will lose their job as Sky will most likely be fined by the BSA, who don't care if it was accidentally screened or not.

Bhwaha, comedy gold if that is the case. Poor bugger, NZ is such a small country it will be hard for him to work again in the broadcasting industry I imagine.

Hopefully Sky will be made to hand-over rights for Freeview broadcasting

Its not the first time this has happened. I remember about 2.5 years ago Prime broadcasted the Discovery Channel feed for about an hour.
