20 meters.

My good one is 15 meters and works.

This is your issue.... Very long standard HDMI cables can be unreliable.

The new cable they are sending may not work either.

I just purchased a fiber optic HDMI cable for a 15 meter run.... This will allow me to send a 4k 60p signal.

My very high quality 10meter HDMI cable will only send 4k 30p.

If u get lucky with the new cable then good... If not u might like to look at HDMI over fiber cables.

That's too long to be reliable anyway. Particularly if you have stuff that uses the 12 or worse 18 gigabit modes over it.

There was some new certification things announced at CES but that will probably take forever to get anywhere and be counterfeited long before the real ones arrive here.

Just wait until 2020 and the mass adoption of 8k / HDCP 2.3 etc.

48Gbp down an HDMI cable any longer than 2 meters? Good luck folk...

Also if you have 2 shorter cables that work great, then an hdmi repeater is dirt cheap off aliexpress, just make sure that it lists 18 gig in its description. They dont cascade from what a friend found.
