davidcole: It’s not new pricing. I’m sure about 10 years ago a large full hd tv (about 60” or 70”) was similar money.

 

 

 

Lower Hutt Harvey Norman used to have a 70" 1080p LCD for $70,000. Think it was closer to 15 years ago though.

If I could afford it of course I would buy one, even in 4k it would be awesome for movies and gaming

 

This would be far superior to a 100" 4k projector setup surely?

Yeah actually had a client recently who specifically requested this new Samsung panel.... Talked them out of it and got them a 77" OLED Panasonic instead.

 

they were unfortunately sucked in with all the fancy ads without having the knowledge about no 8K content and that its only LED.

I have a 65" Panasonic OLED and will be moving to a 75/77" when prices drop. And they will.
