I noticed a few places are now out-of-stock of the PB 2000 and saying that a new model is coming Jan 2020. I asked Dr Google, but nothing seems to be coming up.

Anyone heard the scuttlebutt? Just a minor face-lift model or completely new?

It would make sense for the 2000 to take on some of the tech of the newer SVS subs...

But the SB2000's are still kicking around - so I don't know if anything is really definitive.

Interesting.

I'm redoing a new HT in our new house, build due by end of April so have been eyeing up the SB2000, no note on that however about a replacement. Part of me is sad to say goodbye to all my existing gear, but it sure is fun planning complete replacement (for the sub, out goes my 12 year old CHTr150 Velodyne). Will keep an eye out for whats coming

I guess they could just chuck in a cut-down version of the 3000 series amp, bump up the price a little, and call it a day. I don't know how much competition SVS is getting from the likes of Rythmik or HSU at this tier, but I tend to see the latter two recommended over the former a lot in US based forums/reddit for value for money, so having a few "smart" features could help.

Would be nice if those two showed up here so SVS isn't 1st-place-in-a-one-horse-race, but oh well... *more lamenting noises*.

Well if you are already building, why not do a bit of building in your building....

Holy smokes though, surely he'd have to notify the GNS service before they started watching a movie
