I have been using the powered RF out for a while now, and recently needed to split that signal 2 ways for other TVs. I purchased a decent (all metal) splitter, but it doesn't seem to pass through the 9v power. Anyone have any ideas of how to do this?

If I unplug either of the outputs, it works with the splitter in place, but as soon as I plug in the second one, nada.

Hi what are you using the power for?? Does your splitter allow power to pass through it usually there is a redline going from the input to one or all of the outputs to indicate that the splitter is power pass.

splitters that pass dc backwards to both ports to support feeding dc from a source to several outputs are not common, normally the steering diodes stop this from happening. in the past i have modified splitter for this exact application, i am away for 8days but if you want such an animal pm me and i will build one.

I operate the MySky remotely via "TVLinks" - these pass the remote signal down the RF cable and use the DC voltage to switcvh channels on the receiver. I just need it to do 2 TVs now. Hopefully Cyril can sort one for me.

I thought that it may have been for something like that. Cyril has ya back covered. I used to install these when I lived in the uk and they worked very well http://www.tvlink.co.uk/t-series-amplifiers.htm
I'm not sure if these are available in nz but I am pretty sure they would work some of the guys might know better.
