Hi, Do you get a picture when switched to other HDMI sources?

Yes - I had a spare one after upgrading to another piece of kit and took it around to a work colleague who had just installed a myskyhdi and a sony HTB and it worked perfectly - they have had no problems during the last three weeks

All items in the chain can be important so where the HDi and Trilink might work in the DMC example, change the display and you may get a different result.

Interesting..

I plugged MySKY HDi into port 1 and a dvd into port 2.

The dvd works when I switch to port 2 but nothing when I go to port 1.

Stuzzo: you mention 'change the display and you may get a different result.' DO you mean change the input on the LCD TV? I have a Sony.

I suspect stuzzo means a different display, eg a samsung.  FYI I successfully used the trilink on my sony tv (a three year old V series) and my work colleague also has a sony tv - probably about two years old I think

Presume you have tried with just the mysky in the trilink and nothing else as a proof of concept?  I had a matrix HDMI switcher which I had to exchange when it refused to work with a freeview box and an eva8000 plugged in at the same time.  Having a PS3 and the freeview worked fine, add the eva and it would not work properly
