An establishment I am affiliated with has earlier this month acquired a 50" Samsung Plasma with DVB-T tuner, I don't have the exact model number on me but the manual doesn't help anyway.

It was working fine but mysteriously it has lost it's tuning of all it's channels except Prime and one or 2 other analog UHF channels that are very scratchy (I'm not sure if they were before or not)

The problem is the menu has 5 or so buttons - Sound, Picture, Tuning, Other Connections, etc and the Tuning option isn't able to be selected, the cursor skips straight over it.

The 0800 number hasn't been able to solve the problem so they are sending someone out. On their advice we left it unplugged over night which was supposed to reset it to factory default, but made no difference whatsoever.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Samsung tech upgraded the firmware on site, all good now.

Apparently 1 in 100 come from the factory in some sort of shop mode. Doesn't explian why it worked fine for the first few weeks though :-(

Oh and the DVB-T tuner in the current models isn't compatible with Freeview by the way :-(
