Arrow Video's The Chronicles of Riddick 4K Ultra HD release #3282283 is getting a lot of love for its faultless Dolby Vision transfer and its kicking Dolby Atmos audio. The package comes with three versions of the film on three 4K discs, including the Theatrical Cut on Disc One and Disc Three, and the Director's Cut on Disc Two. The general consensus is that Disc Three which includes the film in open matte (1.78:1) aspect ratio, is definitely the jewel in the crown of this set.

Arrow releases are Limited Editions and once they are gone they don't re-stock. Some titles hang around for years, whilst others disappear quite quickly. It seems that this title may be one that adheres to the latter.

I have it on the way to me from Amazon US along the new 4K of Doomsday. Should be here on Monday or Tuesday. Looking forward to watching them again.

Let us know if the transfer and audio are as good as they say on the Theatrical Cuts.

Got a small haul from a few JBs over there - Bridge over the River Kwai S.B. was the highlight. Someone recommended https://www.playmusicdvds.com.au/ and it was a great store, a lot of imports etc so it was pricey but I got a few bargains there.

Just had a look on the map. Its literally a three minute walk from our hotel. I'll send wifey off shopping and have a nosey 😁

Were there many second hand 4K's available, and if so, what was the pricing like.

I believe it is all new items, but I didn't check every nook and cranny so there may have been a used section. I felt like they were catering more to the collector with their import stuff - I wanted the Silence of the Lambs but it was too expensive to justify! I'll probably regret it later lol.

Also worth checking out any CeX stores while there if you can. They’re a trade in store for movies, games, and tech. Generally each store has a number of 4Ks and pretty good prices. Disc and packaging conditions were excellent on the ones I got on The Gold Coast a couple months back.
