Imprint, who are part of the Australian Via Vision group; don't often (if ever) release 4K Ultra HD films. They seem to prefer to feed the Blu-ray market with their many catalogue titles. But that is about to change, with the announcement of a 4K Ultra HD release of Walter Hill's cult neo-noir 1978 action film... The Driver starring Ryan O'Neal, Bruce Dern and Isabelle Adjani.

Previously available in "The Walter Hill Collection" from Imprint, the 4K release will "lose" the Blu-ray version which was part of that collection. The accompanying five titles were Blu-ray only. The disc was mastered by Studio Canal.

Set for a September 4th release, the film should be available at JBAU and EzyDVD shortly. Otherwise, Via Vision/Imprint's online store.
