Noticed that this was available on the the JB HiFi co.nz website:

http://www.jbhifionline.co.nz/plasma-lcd-tvs/plasma-tv/panasonic-th-p46g10a-46-full-hd-plasma-tv-bonus-gift-from-panasonic-until-24-12-09/436266

Aside from being a rather good price. Is the model even meant to be available to the NZ public?

On the Panasonic NZ site, the only G series they list are the 42" and 50" models (no 46").

The model number on the JB HiFi website is P46G10A (note the 'A' suffix), which indicates it's actually the Aussie model.

Apparently, the price is indeed in NZD - according to the two JB HiFi people I've spoken too on the phone.

Anyone know anything about a 46" G10 for the NZ market?

Okay, somehow got through to a JB HiFi sales guy who knew what he was talking about.

The 46" G10 looks to be an Aus only deal. He mentioned he's had problems in the past with customers coming after seeing some amazing deals on the co.nz website only to discover they were really for Aus customers only.

Perhaps Cool

Some brutal discounts going on at the moment. I get the impression there is still a bit of room to move on the G10's the closer we get to Christmas. Was eying the 42" G10 initially, but, wonder if I wait a few weeks that the 50" G10 will drop into my price range. JB HiFi offered me a 50" G10 for $2699 over the phone - no haggling whatsoever.
