allstarnz: you shouldn't need a DVB-S2 card to view SBS-HD. SBS-HD is just HD MPEG2 video, any DVB-S card should do it just fine.

What Satellite do you get SBS from? Can you just use your existing dish pointed at Optus D1? Also, do you have the frequency?
