I can not get the Media Player to show up in the DLNA setup on the BD85, the Windows 7 laptop running MP which is set to stream and the Panasonic BD85 are connected to my Dlink G604T wireless,, have searched for clues but have had no luck yet, the Panasonic is picking up another laptop but not the one I need.

Any pointers on what to look for would be great

More commonly lack of enabling media sharing, and firewall/user permission issues, or uPnP settings.

Guest/administrator are disabled by default in Windows7 which may not help your cause.

This is a good start.

Thanks for the help, problem now solved, turned out the virus protection Kapersky was blocking access.

Funny thing is that now I have discovered that it does not support music streaming via DLNA?????????????????

Can anyone confirm that this is indeed the case.

Pay to check panasonic for a firmware update.

Seems earlier models only did DNLA 1.0, which is pictures and video only.
