does anyone know where i can get onme of these http://www.jaycar.co.nz/productView.asp?ID=AC1646 but as a 2 way system and hopefully a lot cheaper?

Quality's not so good with those, not that my system will be perfect but those connectors tend to make my TV screen quite snowy.

You could try looking thru :
http://www.dealextreme.com/c/av-equipment-407?page=1&pagesize=100&pagesort=relevence

Splitting the video into 2 as per the 2 way RCA wont work - video is 75ohms impeadance, splitting it into two unbalances the whole lot - giving snow ... audio you can get away with.

If you can split the audio with the two way splitter, here's a video only splitter:

I have split video using one of the 2-way RCA double adapters. It worked fine for years - no snow at all.
