Has anybody looked at the rolling promo for MTV currently screening on Sky Digital channel 35 prior to its launch? Oh, my, I hope the picture quality improves once the channel is in full swing. I am watching on a 50" LCD rear pro and it looks awful - about the same quality as E!. I was hoping that MTV would be great eye candy with its big-budget idents and fresh NZ-inspired graphics but they look woeful on the promo. The colours are over-exaggerated and you can't even make out the words 'music television' under the logo in the corner - there's just a big blur. The graphics on the website look fantastic, but so far the feed on Sky Digital is not doing them justice. Come on Sky, sort it!!

Hopefully the new satellite will permit more bandwidth per channel. There are a lot of annoying dropouts on NatGeo and Dicovery.
