You still haven't said if this problem is happening on Analogue, Digital or both?
If its both then the TV is faulty.
If DVD/Blu Ray and USB playback is OK then it could be a faulty tuner.
What is your signal strength and quality on Digital?
The manual should show how to find check.
It sounds like either your UHF antenna is in the roof space or the co-ax isn't connected to anything up on the roof.
No need to buy a STB and watch via satellite as you have a TV with HD tuner and satellite is not HD. It should work OK in your location.

Hobchild: You are definitely experiencing the same problems I am with my Samsung. It's almost uncanny that we don't have the same TV. I tried changing all the settings around too, nothing worked. I'm sorry I can't be more help. I have a UHF aerial though I'm not 100% sure it's connected to the bedroom jack.

Well, at least i know i not alone on this

The problem happened on both digital and analogue, but my analogue channel also got some snow and not clear picture.

Yesterday, I asked salesman in power store and he said it was my eyesight that different from other people and i need a 100+Hz TV. Is it true?

That's a new sales trick that I hadn't heard of before :-)

If your eyes were that way inclined, would you not see exactly the same problem for those movies played from your USB stick ?

Only if you have same problem with 24fps films at the cinema

That sales man is full of BS.

If that's the case then it's time to demand a replacement TV or preferably a refund and go to another retailer.

No my other older but much more expensive TV does not do this.

If you're after a 32" TV, take a look at a Full HD Panasonic LCD like a U30.
If you'd like to try something bigger, you should be able to get a 42" HD Ready Panasonic plasma (X30), or maybe, just maybe, a 50Hz, Full HD 40" LCD from Sony / Samsung etc?

Well the Sony 32ex520 LED is around $950 - $990 and Noel Leeming has 20% off ALL TVs this weekend.
JB HiFi has some bargains too and usually will discount for cash.

There's no JB's in Chch, so it's Noel Leeming or others in Chch.
Having said that, they're also doing 30 months interest free, so other retailers will be able to go cheaper for cash as they don't have to factor in the big interest free offer with their pricing.
