I'm a Systems Librarian.  I work closely with our Library Management System and ensure all systems are working; this includes backups, server maintenance and day-to-day data management.

I also train staff and patrons to use technology within the library, both software and hardware, including subscribed databases, tablets, PCs, eBooks, eReaders etc.

I like to keep myself informed with what's happening in the technology world and enjoy reading forums like this.

Welcome from one geek chick to another ^_^

Have to say I love your username. I'm book mad and libraries have me giggling like a school girl. I know in your case the reference is a bit different, but still... :)
