Hello All!

My name is Arty and I'm a newcomer here and a newcomer to New Zealand as well. Just thought it would be nice to register here as New Zealand is a small country and I believe that the IT community is rather friendly and close here, especially for the occupation that I'm in.
For me, I'm a Network/Telecom Engineer, a bit of a musician (guitarist). I just love technologies, I'm also into techno stuff like 3D printing, 3D scanning, electrovehicles, robots and so on.. and into sports as well, especially bicycling and walking/travelling.

I'd be glad to hear from someone here.
Thanks.

Hi Arty, you're right - this is a helpful, friendly place here at GeekZone.

So what part of NZ have you moved to and how are you finding it settling in?

:)

<- don't ask me where I am - I haven't a clue: its a tech thing ;)
Housewife computerer: not particularly great at either.
And don't take me too seriously.

Hi jevvv,

Well I'm not quite here yet :) I'm arriving to Auckland in the beginning of September, hoping to start a new life here (that is, be lucky enough to stay here :)

Sounds good, and the weather should be getting a bit nicer by the time you're heading here :)
