Hi there,

My name is Gwilym, I'm a slightly Geeky type from Wanaka - currently in Germany. I like Geekzone :-)

I have been working on a web idea for the last eight months and we released it in a minor way this week. It is a peer to peer transport site which hopes to match people who need transport with anybody who can provide it.

The site is here...

We would really, really, really appreciate any comments on how people interact with it on first visit...

  • Does the sign up process make sense?
  • Does the idea come across ok?

Looks like a really good concept, I'm not sure how easy your company name is to remember though - if I was trying to get to it just by memory I would struggle.

Also, I think you should move your new user sign up to be above the login box - you are trying to attract new users, so put this in a very prominent position.  Maybe also redesign it so that the sign up button is bigger and in bold.

The layout is nice and I like the colour scheme. As you probably already know, this idea has been used successfully in the states already. Signup seems easy and menus intuitive. I would change the name, I wouldn't remember it when trying to find the site again.

Awesome, thanks for the feedback!

- We are pretty commited to Cooreea as a name, hell people had trouble remembering the two O's in Google

- We will look at making the new user more obvious in next weeks release

- While the idea has been tried in the States we were already half way through developing our core code when we found out. There are fundamental differences though - we offer to handle and secure the transaction and provide tracking tools for people to use if they desire

Any other feedback very welcome.
