Hi All,

Found Geekzone via google a couple of weeks ago whilst looking for PDA info. I signed up immediately and have been checking the site everyday for the latest goss / info as I find it very helpful.

I am a computer techie/consultant in Auckland, been doing the geek thing for the last 15 years and still enjoy the challenges that computers bring, well, maybe it's the users that are the most challenging at times!

I'm finally going to get my first PDA, I know, I know, I been sitting on the fence on this for SOOOOOOOOOOO long!

Got my eye on the imate Jasjar at present but am open to ideas. Where/which forum do I post questions about this for ideas / recommendations?

Keep up the great work on this site!

Cheers,

Wigs

Welcome to Geekzone (and remember to join the Geekzone Dinner Auckland 2005, look for information in my sig).

You can ask for more information in the Pocket PC or Pocket PC Phone Edition forum, depending if you want just a PDA or a connected device with phone capabilities.

I understand that smartphones are devices which integrate voice and data communications
with an assortment of software applications and PC synchronization. Smartphones are a combination of a cellular phone and a PDA, they even have the querty keyboard. I want one.

Thank for that. What if I don't know which one I want or will meet my needs? Do I post in every forum or is there are 'generic questions forum' that can then lead to detailed discussions in a particular forum?

Cheers
