Hi all
Searching for a lightweight laptop Kensington lock (Defcon lock?)
Similar to this : with a lightweight cable rather than the mega thick ones that seem to be commonplace.

If there are any Auckland sellers that do this that would be helpful, needing by the end of the week.

The one pictured is on Trademe for $27, would prefer not to pay quite that much but just not sure where else to look. Tried PBtech, Pricespy, nothing really there. Edit: The other ones on Trademe start at $4 :/

Any help appreciated.
Cheers
David

What you've got there is the same as the Dick Smith one: http://www.dicksmith.co.nz/product/L9510/laptop-lockdown-combination. Slightly cheaper too! ($25)

Thanks all. Ended up getting 2 off Trademe and the seller threw in free shipping.

TinyTim: Yeah - I used to have one that I got for a significantly cheaper price when I worked at DSE. The lock part was busted by someone helpfully ripping it out of a laptop :/

GZT: Thanks, but you might have missed the bit where I said that I was looking for something cheaper than $27, so not sure how a $95 laptop lock is in any way useful to the discussion??  o.0

Cheers
David

Targus make Kensington locks with fairly thin cables, pretty expensive from memory.
