Hi, I hope I'm asking this in the right place, I bought my samsung laptop approx 6 months ago, the windows experience rating was around 5.8, l checked it again this weekend and its now running a miserable 2.9!! I have spybot, KM player, avast, photo lite studio and thats about all I have added as far as programs go, all the settings I have everything set to favor performance = battery, display etc, it just doesn't make any sense, is anyone able to shed some light on the subject??

Memory (RAM) 8.00 GB                                                 8.1
Graphics Intel (R) HD Graphics 4000                               2.9
Gaming Graphics  4809 MB Total avail graphics memory  5.6

Have you changed the display drivers? Just yesterday I checked my Intel NUC and see that there's a newly released Intel drivers for HD4000.

Go to https://downloadcenter.intel.com/default.aspx and run the check utility. I suggest you use Internet Explorer otherwise it will require Java. Install the Intel drivers.

Tried that but tells me that it has Samsungs own drivers :

and there's nothing new on the Samsung website, strange..

Thanks for that link, it will still be handy for future reference..

It says that, but you can install the Intel reference drivers.

If you do make sure that you have a restore point. If you do make sure you have a backup of your data.
