The MSI U100 netbook is about 5 years old.
I have added an extra 1gb of RAM but it doesn't seem any better.
I run Winpatrol, Malwarebytes and MS Security Essentials/
The Wind is unreliable on startup and/or on shutdown.
It seems very, very slow as compared to my Nexus 7.
I have tried PC Pitstop, which will not run.
I run CCleaner often and don't have superflous software.

I am not an Apple fan. Nevertheless, the new Air 13" seems promising.

I have decided that a super long battery life is not that important i.e Haswell.
I think an ultrabook would be OK.
I really, really only need MS for Moneydance (Money program). It can run on Linux, MS Windows and OS.

I have installed Linux Mint. Even though Mint can see my NAS, Moneydance cannot. I has asked on their forums but either did not understand the reply or I couldn't get it to work.
I think $1500 is a reasonable price. Any recommendations.
PS I wasn't impressed with the Surface PRO (also the NZ retailers leave a lot to be desired e.g. they couldn't log in, the stylus wasn't available, they knew virtually nothing about it).
